Well, it’s been quite a day. Dave and I put together a press release which we circulated to a few online news blogs and sites we thought were relevant for what we’re doing, and also some of the more traditional media outlets, and the response blew us away. I mean, we’re not launching Kinect so didn’t expect we’d set the world on fire, but the response we did get helped us validate the fact that we’re doing the right thing.

This really isn’t about us trying to become billionaires. We didn’t start Juno Interactive to get rich fast. Far from it. We’re really in this because like a lot of people out there in Australia, we were tired of not being able to get great TV and movie content online here in Australia, while there were multiple services offering online video content in the US and UK. We’re trying to kick start the revolution, not get onto Bentley’s mailing list.

Today we got some great write ups from Gizmodo, TheNextWeb and Delimiter, three blogs you should have added to your reader if you’re even remotely interested in tech in Australia, and staffed by some incredibly passionate and enthusiastic people.

I’ve pulled the links together here all in one place:

  1. Juno Interactive sounds like a promising VOD service for Australia: bit.ly/alZMnA (Gizmodo)
  2. Former ninemsn Head of Video to launch TV and Movie on Demand service in Australia: bit.ly/br3dSY (TheNextWeb)
  3. Australia gets Flash web video on demand service: bit.ly/9v93l0 (Delimiter)
