Jimmy Storrier
Founder & Head of Customer Development
Prior to co-founding Juno Interactive, Jimmy was the Head of Video at ninemsn, where he was responsible for re-launching the short-form video clip destination (http://video.ninemsn.com.au) and one of Australia’s first Silverlight content destinations (http://video.au.msn.com). He was also tasked with formulating ninemsn’s long form video content strategy, which he commenced with the launch of Catch-Up TV destination FixPlay (http://www.fixplay.com.au).
Jimmy is now recognised as an industry leader in online video, being asked to speak about Online Video Commercialisation at the Australasian Media & Broadcast Congress in Sydney in 2010.
Prior to working in online video, Jimmy was an Executive Producer in the Entertainment team at ninemsn, primarily responsible for better monetising and commercialising ninemsn’s flagship entertainment brand, The Fix (http://thefix.com.au). Working closely with PBL Media he led the team that re-launched Channel 9′s web properties under the ninemsn banner. His experience with online entertainment properties began in 2007 at Yahoo!7 where he ended up as the Head of Entertainment before moving to ninemsn.
David Morrison
Founder & Head of Product Development
David has over 10 years experience as an expert in digital media and production. David’s technical expertise has seen him launch successful, commercially robust properties for key media organisations in Australia, most recently at Yahoo!7 prior to co-founding Juno Interactive. David’s key management positions at Yahoo!7 included Head of Lifestyle, and Head of Media Production and Custom Solutions. Under David’s leadership, Yahoo!7 Lifestyle became Australia’s #1 Lifestyle website, and Yahoo!7’s most sought-after advertiser property. Whilst at Yahoo!7 David was responsible for the complete product life cycle of the Yahoo!7 Media Properties, leading his teams from concept, design and development to consumer acquisition, retention and commercialisation.
David is also a skilled developer and designer, having run his own web development and design business. During this time David held contracts with major companies including Telstra, BigPond and News Digital. He also launched the website property for the radio station Vega at DMG Radio Australia, one of the country’s largest commercial radio networks.
